I hate to be that person who says that they're going to do something, and then has to change their mind at the last minute but, I want to warn you in advance. If there is a small gap of maybe 2 or 3 weeks on the blog, don't be alarmed. We're currently prepping for exams, so until May 20th things might be a bit patchy around here. Regardless of this, this week has been semi-productive. It's really difficult to prioritize which exams to properly study for, and there really isn't time to do 2 hour papers and make sure all of my knowledge on each subject is up to scratch. I'd love to get some advice on how to prioritize time, so please let me know if you have any! Here are some of the things I've been enjoying this week!

Okay, I know this doesn't fall into the cookie cutter mold of "watching" things, but there's no denying how much I've been enjoying pinning lately. It's the best way to see what kind of posts might come up down the line, so follow us on there if you want to see a whole load of post-exam planning.

It's back, and with a vengeance. This show is something else. With rumors of Selena Gomez launching a similar show and amazing music, you really can't go wrong with this show. It does have a whole load of plot twists, but it's a fantastic series to watch if you have a free day to binge watch.

This week introduced the first "Spring Clean" of the season, which is definitely overdue. I found what I will call "The ugliest drawers ever", and have slowly began to clear out areas of my room and stick things into these clear plastic boxes. You know what they say... clean room, clear mind!

I'm currently reading this modern day retelling of the ever famous Sherlock Holmes series. I'm about one third of the way in, but there's no denying the amazing appeal of the novel. It's a modern day mystery with roots in the original Holmes novels. To be honest, it's making me want to read the original series throughly. Another classic series to add to the list!

This chilling account of Alem's (a Eritrean refugee) traumatizing and life changing journey from Libya to Europe. This piece really spoke to me, since we really never get the chance to hear the true experiences of refugees. We see what the media depicts, but never the whole truth. This article is a prime representation of the truth. 

After reading the Camus' L'Etranger/ The Outsider/ The Stranger, I began to wonder whether it was realistic for a jury to ever understand a felon's background, understand the possible psychological harm that would lead to their crime. This article provides insight into Mark Fregia's life, and the details really provide information about the possible reasons why he committed his crime. This compelling read really made me think, and I'd love to hear what you think.

We've all seen those gorgeous Instagrams of a gorgeous woman holding her partner's hand as she guides him around some of the world's top travel destinations in the place's national dress. Now, the two creators are giving a small behind the scenes look at how they get those infamous shots. In particular, their recent excursion to India. Take a look at the struggles of their journey and the fascinating lengths they go to in order to get these stunning images.

Ever wanted to do a road trip sing-along with a celebrity? Well, James Corden (lucky duck) has done so with over a dozen. These hilarious videos are a great watch if you're bored.

I hope you've all had a good week! This one has been filled with a bit of traveling (for Sarah), a lot of  sugar (for me), a few exams (for the both of us). But now, finally, we are on Spring break. The next two weeks will be filled with revision, preparation and scheduling blog posts for the next few weeks. With our exams just over a month away, our content might take a bit of a dip, but not to worry! We will be back in full force in June, just in time for a bucket load of traveling posts. Here's what I've been enjoying this week.

I've been reading this blog for a few months now, and I really love her honest content and cheery pictures. It's a great blog for those of you who enjoy reading about makeup and hearing really good advice. A great read if you're having a grey day!

I'm really trying to get better at taking pictures. Hopefully, soon all of the sourced photos will be gone from the blog, and I will be able to post some lovely ones on Instagram! Be sure to follow us here for the latest updates.

For all of you beauty/skincare/shopping lovers out there, Tati covers everything from couponing to $120 concealers. This channel is great if you're looking for honest reviews on the latest in makeup, and if you want to see how to get the best lasting makeup!

You know these are good when I don't mess them up. They're the perfect cookie! Chewy enough without being mush, with just the right dough. At first, it might seem a bit tedious to make, but trust me. I've made these 4 times in the past few weeks, and still haven't made a mistake!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend (for those of you who celebrate), and a fantastic Spring Break for those who have a few days off! I hope the next week will be relaxing and fun! I'm pretty sure that every other time I write one of these, I'm telling everyone how I'm ill in some way, shape or form. The exam stress is obviously getting to me, and with my French final speaking exam tomorrow (ak), I'm just sitting in my bed not making a peep. Obviously, this has meant a boat load of reading and watching TV, so let's take a look at what I've been enjoying!

I subscribed to the email service on a whim, not expecting much of it. But after last weeks letter on discrimination and gender gaps in Hollywood, I began to read through the archives. It's fascinating to see the high calibre of writing and the passionate ideas of famous women. 

Lady Midnight, Cassandra Clare

I don't know how I feel about this book. I was a fan of the original The Mortal Instruments series, but this spin-off wasn't as exciting as I expected. maybe it was just that I was younger when I read the original series, but who knows. Let me know what you thought about it.

I really needed to read this. After being bedridden for multiple days, this is a great motivator to start on Monday.

This, like most things I find online, popped up on my Facebook feed. As a biology student (hahahahahahah we all know what I do in those lessons), it's amazing to watch theories you've been taught appear in real life.

Amidst the thunder, days off and dark days (love the extra days off, the flooding? Not so much), this week has been a serious drag. We're finishing the course content tomorrow, and even though we are just trailing through, it's exhausting. Doing the 6-3 then slugging home to revise has just not been working. It's absolutely exhausting. With that, there's been a lot of R&R, thus, I have to share that with you!

As a bathroom product hoarder (ask anyone who has stepped foot into my room, they'll never say otherwise), looking out for the latest products is a must have. The Bumble and Bumble Bb. Custom Curl Conditioner looks like the best product for my wavy/curly tresses. It's in the awkward "in need of a trim but I don't want to cut it" trend where the curls won't stick and the waves won't go. Naturally, this three-in-one product needs to get into my tub as soon as possible!

As an extremely avid tumblr user, this article was quite intriguing. From Facebook's constant changes to the tiny change in color on Tumblr's dashboard (does anyone remember that moment of panic when you thought your eyesight was failing?), it proves that every technological update has a story behind it. Whether an acquisition or collaboration, we can finally understand the business behind these sudden transitions in our tech.

As a huge Buzzfeed fan, this was a hilarious video to watch. 

I've found that watching new shows whilst working can get a bit distracting. So, I've banked up a boat load of reruns that I've saved for the revision periods. Gossip Girl is my pick of the week, and I can honestly say that listening to a series whilst making notes is really helping me focus. It's like mood music! Try it, let me know what you think.

I know I say this every single week, but maybe this will be the week I actually hand in my coursework. Every time I say this, I neglect that one subject that I haven't polished up yet. This week, I will hand in my English coursework and bam, it's time to revise. There's one really important event this week (*hint hint*), and then I will become a hermit for the next two and a half months. Let me  just apologize and warn you now, because otherwise you will become extremely disheartened by my content. P.S. In honor of last week's World Book Day, this week will feature only "what to read!" (can we at least pretend that's the reason hahahahahaha I'm so tired)
