As if to go against any stereotype that the 'new generation' are lazy, hopeless creatures (bitter much?), here are some quotes that go against the idea that those who've made it have done so through pot luck.

As a fellow 'I'm just not going to care' style girl, I completely agree with this article. We're allowed to be lazy, hacks be damned.

Loosely based upon Tan's heritage and her mother's struggles as an immigrant, The Joy Luck Club describes the lives of four women and their American-Chinese daughters. This moving book is also a film, and dramatically describes the relationships between mothers and daughters of two very different cultures.

I've put this on the list this week solely to raise a discussion. This controversial novel discusses a fictional school shooting, based on a diverse group of main characters. I've heard extremely conflicting thoughts about this one, and would love to hear your thoughts to compare them to mine.

This dystopian novel series is incredible. I have to commend Victoria Aveyard for developing the main character, Mare, and creating a book that I finished in half a day. I could not put it down. The series talks about two different groups of people - the powerful 'Silvers' and the common folk 'Reds'. Mare Barrow is unlike everyone else, a person with the powers of a Silver concealed in Red blood. I need not say any more ;)

I did not expect to like this album, not going to lie. I was pleasantly surprised by the various songs, especially Needed Me, Never Ending and Higher. Each song has it's own vibe, and seems to fit into a different genre. No complaints.
